No more creating layers and adding filters and masks.

New and Improved Quick Mask AI Tool – Similar to the Super Select AI tool, the upgraded Quick Mask AI tool offers point-and-click editing for masks, simplifying the blending of layers and filters.

Optimized Performance – This update brings the most significant performance boosts yet! Almost everything in Edit feels faster. Opening raw files is now up to twice as fast, making it almost instantaneous. Opening .ONPhoto files (your creations from HDR, Pano, or multiple layers) is over twice as fast. Zooming, panning, and brushing are now buttery smooth, even on complex photos with many layers and filters. These improvements result from innovative methods we've developed to utilize the GPU and reduce memory usage.

Smaller Installer and More Frequent Updates – This release also includes a re-engineered app and update delivery method. The product installer is now much smaller, making it faster to download and install. Upon launching the app, it automatically checks for updates and downloads any missing or updated components. This allows us to update camera support, AI models, and extra content more frequently, making updates much smaller.

Added Camera and Lens Support – As with all updates, support for new raw formats and profiles for the latest cameras and lenses.

Version 2024.5, coming this June, will be a free update for all 2024 owners and subscribers. They will be notified via the in-app update when it is available. ON1 announced the new ON1 Effects 2024 with several enhancements, including the AI Style Advisor, which uses AI technology to recommend personalized filter stacks based on user edits. In a recent live broadcast in China, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi will no longer make cameras and will focus on making cars. Xiaomi used to produce the compact Xiaomi YI M1 MFT mirrorless camera and two lenses:

"YI Technology was originally backed by Xiaomi, but split off from Xiaomi in October 2016 and dropped the "Xiaomi Yi" branding. The YI M1 is a consumer-level camera designed and made in China. It has a 20MP Four Thirds sensor, 3'' 1.04M-dot touchscreen LCD, and an 81-point Contrast Detect AF system."

Topaz Labs released Photo AI v3.0.0 released - here is what's new:

• Presets: Save your commonly used filter combinations into a single stack, including the filter settings and selections. Presets will then appear in the enhancement menu so that you can reuse your favorite settings and selections across any of your photos with a single click. This will speed up the process of editing large batches of hundreds or thousands of photos at a time. You can also delete old presets by hovering over them in the enhancement menu.
• Docking & Collapsing: You can now dock the floating control panel on the right side of the viewport for easy access, or undock it and move it to where you need on top of your working preview area. The right panel is also now collapsible, making more space for viewing your image while editing. For maximum space, try undocking the control panel while in collapsible mode.
• Reordering: You can now re-order and combine your enhancements in any order on the right panel, allowing you to more dynamically chain effects together. For example, you can now sharpen the entire image first before denoising the background and then sharpening again with just the subject. Changing the order of the filters will affect the way the output is processed, and this freedom will allow you to achieve results that otherwise were not possible within Photo AI.
• RAW Balance Color & Adjust Lighting: On top of RAW Denoise, you are now able to adjust the color balance and lighting for RAW files inside Topaz Photo AI using our AI-based filters. This allows you to get the best quality possible out of your image straight from the camera and inside the application without having to make these adjustments in an external application even for RAW files.
