Sony is now introducing new price increases every year - Sony Japan just announced another price increase coming on August 1st, 2024, that will impact digital single-lens cameras, lenses for digital single-lens cameras [E mount], digital video cameras, digital still cameras, professional camcorders, and other products (see the full list here).

The impact on Sony prices in the US and Europe is not clear yet, but if you have been on the market for a new Sony product, you may want to make the purchase before August 1st - check the latest prices at Adorama, B&H, and Amazon.
