Flight reimagined for life
July 28, 2025 — Insta360, a global leader in 360 imaging and AI-powered content creation, is proud to announce the launch of Antigravity, a new and independent drone brand incubated by Insta360 in collaboration with third parties. Antigravity redefines aerial exploration with intuitive controls, immersive 360 capture, and a design philosophy focused on creativity and ease of use.
A New Category of Drones
Rather than incrementally upgrading existing drone designs, Antigravity introduces a new product category altogether: 360 drones built around immersive flight. By combining cutting-edge imaging with an intuitive control system, Antigravity enables users to capture their surroundings from any angle, all without requiring advanced piloting skills.
"It's been incredibly exciting to help bring this new category to life," says Max Richter, co-founder & VP of Marketing at Insta360. "Antigravity represents the best of what can happen when we help incubate bold ideas and co-engineer new tech. It's a fresh take on drone design that pushes the boundaries of what's possible."
Designed for Everyone
Antigravity drones are made for creators of all kinds. From families and travelers to casual explorers and first-time drone pilots. With intuitive operation and streamlined controls, users can launch and record within seconds. No steep learning curve, no technical background required.
Designed for Storytelling in Every Direction
Antigravity builds on the same 360 storytelling philosophy that made Insta360's X Series a favorite among creators worldwide. With its dual-lens capture, users can fly without worrying about framing the perfect shot. Everything is recorded in full, allowing creators to focus on the moment and shape their story afterward.
Co-Creation Built In
Antigravity is also pioneering a community-driven product development model through the Antigravity Hub. Users are invited to contribute feedback and ideas, which may shape future features or products. Contributions that inspire new innovations will be rewarded, highlighting the brand's commitment to co-creation and transparency.
Smart Safeguards for Peace of Mind
To ensure drones are used responsibly, Antigravity's first product features smart safety functions, including payload detection to prevent unauthorized modifications or unsafe flight behavior.
